Speech Language Pathology Service

Our goal is to improve the quality of a child's interactions and prevent communication problems.

Early Intervention:
The preschool years are the most critical for speech and language development. We see children from birth to school entry age. We see children who need help with the following: oral motor skills; language development; articulation of speech sounds; listening/learning; fluency/stuttering; voice; feeding.

We provide: assessment of communication skills; individual or group therapy; home practice programs; outreach to preschools and daycares; education/training for caregivers and community education/prevention presentations.

All of our Speech Language Pathologists have Master's degrees and are certified by either the Canadian Association of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists (CASLPA) www.caslpa.ca or the American Speech Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) www.asha.org and are members of the BC Association of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists (BCASLPA) www.bcaslpa.bc.ca. We also have certified Hanen Program Instructors www.hanen.org.
