Field Trips

Field trips are an important part of our program. They can consist of an impromptu walk in the neighborhood to learn about communities and road safety, a trip to the firehall to see where someone's mom or dad works and learn about fire safety, or a trip to extend a program theme (i.e.: grocery store or train ride.) There will be times during the year when regular classes will be cancelled or times changed to accomodate such trips. Notices will be sent out prior to any trips requiring cancellation of classes so families can plan ahead. Parents are welcome to join us at any time for a field trip.

Please be aware that for safety reasons some field trips will require an adult to attend with their child. Transportation to and from the Preschool is the responsibility of the families. We may ask parents to assist in carpools for field trips.
